It’s not easy being green, but it’s easy drinking green! Our Dairy Free and Gluten Free Matcha Hot Cocoa recipe is simply delicious – and super easy to whip up too! With only three ingredients, this is the perfect on-the-go treat while enjoying the natural energy boost and benefits of the Matcha plant.
All you need is one serving of our Bare Life Gluten Free and Vegan Hot Chocolate Mix, 3/4 cup (6 oz.) of water, and ½ teaspoon of your favorite Matcha tea leaf powder. If you prefer an even thicker Matcha, substitute almond milk, coconut milk, or any plant based milk for the equivalent amount of water. Then you just need to heat your water on the stove. While it gets up to the perfect sipping temperature, for you, just mix together our Bare Life Hot Cocoa Mix and Matcha powder in your favorite mug or even in your Bare Life Mason Jar Mug! Once the water is just about at a boil (ideally about 140ºF), pour it over your hot cocoa matcha mixture and there you have it -
so matcha better!😉
